The report describes a survey made by Roger Fyfe, Roy Davis and Kelvin Day of the Otakeho Cave on the Bennett Estate Farm in Dingle road, Otakeho, Feb 1981.
It is thought that the cave was dug by Mr Gallus Strovtz during WWII in preparation for a possible Japanese invasion. It contained several rooms and was well ventilated.
