Description
The top part only of a lease agreement between Thomas Thornthwaite and Admiral Robert Long of Middlesex, England. The deed is written in English, Hanoverian (George III), in a round legal hand. The heading has been printed (Thomas Druce, Stationer). The lower section containing some text and presumably seals is missing. The document is worn and stained and is consequently difficult to decipher, however it concerns the lease by Long to Thornthwaite of properties in a street in the parish of St George, Hanover Square, Middlesex. It is dated and verified on the reverse in the presence of Henry Long and Robert Bridge.
