 Description
The scrapbook consist of 51 pages of single leaves onto which newspaper clippings have been pasted. Most clippings relate to Te Rangihiroa's death, the repatriation of his ashes, the unveiling of his memorial prow at Okoki Pa, Urenui and the cairn marking his birth place near Urenui beach. The articles have been clipped from a number of different newspapers including the New Zealand Herald, Taranaki Herald, Taranaki Daily News, Freedom etc
