A hand stitched commemorative sampler which is stitched onto an irregular shaped piece of white cotton. It shows a royal procession of carriages, mounted guardsmen and a brass band in yellow, blue, black and purple thread. " GEORGE VI ELIZABETH / CROWNED MAY 12 1937 " is embroidered on the sampler.
