Description
A Kodak No.2A Folding Pocket Brownie camera. The rectangular, black, imitation leather box features a hinged front fold-down panel. The bellows and photographic lens slide out on rails found on the inner surface of the panel. There are various levers and switches around the lens and also on the fold-down panel. The back panel opens out sideways to allow the film to be fitted. " NO.2A FOLDING POCKET BROWNIE " is stamped into the imitation leather strap affixed to the top surface of the camera. " IBT / BROWNIE ... EKC ... AUTOMATIC / MADE BY EASTMAN KODAK CO.ROCHESTER.N.Y.U.S.A / PATENTED / APRIL 21. 1908.AUG.31.1909. / 1...2...3...4 " is embossed in brass with a black background and located on the lens surround at the end of the bellows.
