Description
A gold plated swimming medal . The medal features five crown shaped points framing a circular plaque at the centre. The points are infilled with a decorative flower motif. A set of three eyelets is attached to four of the points from which a ribbon or chain was attached. " West Coast / Championship / 1st / 220 yds / 1906 " is engraved on the front of the medal at the centre." 9 Cv." is stamped onto the reverse of the medal at the top and followed with an abstract animal shape. " Won by / J. Grant " is engraved on the reverse of the medal and decorated with a plant motif.
