A black and white striped jacket with two lines of red and blue running along the inner left edge of the white band. There are three bronze coloured buttons at the front and two cuff buttons, one of these is missing on the left arm. There is an embroidered monogram for New Plymouth Boys' High School on facing right chest pocket.
This jacket belonged to Trevor Betts, who attended New Plymouth Boys' High School in 1924 and 1925. His brother Cyril remembers the school uniform beginning to incorporate yellow in the 1930s but the general uniform never had blue and red. Cyril was not in any teams that awarded any special jackets so it is thought this jacket is an Old Boys version.
