Interior view of the Officers' Mess, Marsland Hill Barracks, mounted on a large card - the only known interior view of the barracks at this time. Photograph depicts a covered table and a chair in the centre of the room. There are other tables and chairs around the edge of the room and part of a well-stocked library is visible on the right. There are photographs and paintings on the walls, including two smaller framed images on the back wall of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The roof of the building is A shaped.
