Photograph of the plan of the Turuturu Mokai Redoubt in Hawera. Plan depicts the redoubt as it was in 1868 before it was attacked by Hauhaus on 12 July. The plan shows various aspects of the redoubt including the placement of tents, guard rooms, Captain Ross's whare outside the redoubt walls, and even the location of what was presumed to be Ross's heart after he was killed during the ambush. The plan has been adhered to brown coloured card.
