Jug, Measuring

Description
A small copper coloured metal measuring jug with a wide base and body which narrows near the top. It has a tulip shaped opening and a tapered handle. A cypher of Queen Victoria appears in the inside of the top rim, depicting a crown the letters 'V' and 'R' either side of a circle divided into four.

This jug was originally used in the Ship Inn, an early New Plymouth hotel on Devon Street. The Ship Inn was demolished to make way for the Criterion Hotel.
