Powelliphanta marchanti. A Marchants Land Snail, brown in colour. Interior has had tissue inserted. Situated in a cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "P. marchanti (Powell, 1932) / Ruahine Range, / near Mokai - Patea trig". A96.940 - 942 are also contained in this box.

that
eats
earthworms.
They
are
endemic
to
New
Zealand.
Little

the
species
and
their

they

susceptible
to
habitat
loss
and
predation.
