Powelliphanta traversi koputaroa. A Travers Land Snail, A light brown green in colour. Interior has had cotton wool inserted. Situated in a cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "Form koputaroa / Under niggerheads in swamp / at Koputaroa, Levin". Handwritten in blue pen is "PTO" and on the reverse in pen again, "P. traversi". A96.925-928 are also contained in this box.

This subspecies is found around Koputaroa N of Levin, North Island. It is one of the large land carnivorous snails that eats earthworms. They are endemic to New Zealand. Little is known about the species and their population status but they are susceptible to habitat loss and predation.
