Powelliphanta traversi latizona. A Travers Land Snail, brown in colour. Interior has had cotton wool inserted. Situated in a cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "Form latizona / Greenaways Bush, at end / of Gladstone Rd, Levin". A96.922 is also contained in this box.

that
eats
earthworms.
They
are
endemic
to
New
Zealand.
Little
is
known
about
the
species
and
their
population
status
but
they
are
susceptible
to
habitat
loss
and
predation.
