Powelliphanta patrickensis. A Ross' Land Snail, brown in colour with a dimple on the exterior shell. Interior is hollow. Situated in a cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "P. rossiana patrickensis (Powell, 1949) / In tussock, Burnett Face, / behind Denniston".

This subspecies is found at Burnett face, South Island. It is one of the large land carnivorous snails that eats earthworms. They are endemic to New Zealand. Little is known about the species and their population status but they are susceptible to habitat loss and predation.
