Powelliphanta hochstetteri anatokiensis. A Hochstetter Land Snail brown in colour with a striped pattern. Interior has had cotton wool inserted. Situated in a cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "P. hochstetteri anatokiensis (Powell, 1938)" Another piece of paper in the same manner reads "Anatoki Forks, W. Nelson, 2000ft". A96.877 is also contained in this box.

This species is found in the North Western of South Island at the head waters of Anatoki. It is a large carnivorous snail and eats earthworms, insects and other snail. Not much information is known about this species.
