Description
Powelliphanta superba mouatae. A Superb Land Snail, dull brown in colour. Interior has a piece of aged tissue inserted inside. Situated in a small cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "P. superba mouatae (Powell, 1936) / Between 7 & 8 mile pegs, Gouland Downs". A96.867 is also contained in this box.

It

earthworms,
insects
and
other
snails.
It
is
nationally
endangered
being
susceptible

predation.

is
known
about
the
species.
