Powelliphanta lignaria ruforadiata. A Woodformed Land Snail, striped in brown tones. Interior has had cotton wool inserted. Situated in a small cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "P. lignaria ruforadiata (Powell, 1949) / Upper Mokihinui R.". A96.848 is also contained in this box.

This subspecies is found in the south Island in seddonville, Northern Westland. It is recorded from Upper Mokihinui River. It is a large carnivorous snail eating earthworms, insects and other snails. It is listed as nationally endangered but little is known about the species.
