Powelliphanta lignaria unicolorata. A Woodformed Land Snail, slightly striped in brown tones. Shell is hollow. Situated in a small rectangular cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "P. lignaria lignaria X P. lignaria unicolor- / Summerlea, Mokihinui R. /ata".

This subspecies is found in the South Island in Northern westland. It is carnivorous eating earthworms, insects and other small snails. It is nationally vulnerable due to habitat destruction and predation by pest.
