Powelliphanta lignaria lusca. A Woodformed Land Snail, striped chestnut brown and black on top and tan and brown underneath. Cotton wool has been inserted into the interior. Situated in a small cardboard box with a white label with black printed text that reads "Paryphanta lignaria lusca (Powell, 1949) / Glasseye Creek and bush near tidal / creek, Little Wanganui" A96.844 is also contained in this box.
