Butterflies, Framed
Description
Two butterfly specimens, mounted with metal pins in a wooden frame with gold edges. Butterflies are coloured black and white (lower butterfly), orange and black (top butterfly). White adhered labels with handwritten text beneath each butterfly reads "BUPRETID / SOLOMAN ISLAND" and "PAPILIO BRIDGAE / SOLOMON ISLAND [gender symbol, female]". The rear of the frame has a metal round hook for hanging and adhered brown tape border covering the white mount card. Pins are protruding through the back of the frame.
