Butterflies, Framed
Description
Two butterfly specimens, mounted with metal pins in a wooden frame with deep gold coloured edges. Butterflies are coloured white and pale green/turquoise (top), and purple, metallic/blue (lower). White adhered label with black handwritten text beneath the top butterfly reads " MORPHO CATENARIA / (BRAZIL)", and lower label reads " MORPHO MENELANS / (BRAZIL)". The rear of the frame has a round hook for hanging and brown adhered tape border covering white mount card.
