Butterfly, Framed
Description
A butterfly, mounted with a metal pin, and framed in a pale wooden box with a whitewash appearance and glass panel. Butterfly is coloured pale white and cream with a metallic blue/mauve sheen. White label with black printed text beneath the butterfly reads "Morpho didius / (Peru)", and is secured by two metal pins. "SYD / L115" is handwritten on an adhered label on the bottom right side of the frame and covered with selotape. The rear of the frame has hooks and string for hanging. Four metal screws hold the frame together, evident from the top and lower edges of the rear.
