Butterfly, Framed
Description
A cream and brown butterfly framed. Mounted with metal pins on a white piece of card and contained within a deep black wooden frame, interior sides coloured gold. White adhered label with black printed text beneath the butterfly reads "Caligo idomeneus". "No 217" is stamped along the lower rear edge of the frame. Triangular metal hook at centre top allows for hanging. Rear of frame has a brown paper tape border sealing pale green card. Butterfly has been mounted upside down so the visible surface is the underside of the insect.
