Beetle, Framed
Description
A group of 7 beetles, one is broken in half. Varying shapes and colours. Mounted on a white piece of card and contained within a deep wooden frame, interior sides coloured gold. Only four labels, three are handwritten and one is printed in black with an inserted handwritten line detailing the date as follows. "Bluewater Rg, S end / of Paluma Rg, N. Qld / 05 Jan 1990 / L. Ring", remaining handwritten labels as follows "40. MILE SCRUB / N/W Mt. GARNET / 21.2.1992 / C. PRATT", "OKAPA / EAST. HIGHLANDS / PNG / JULY. 1991", "COOKTOWN Qld. / 11.2.1988 / C. PRATT". Round metal hook at centre top allows for hanging. Rear of frame has a brown paper tape border sealing the white mounted card.
