Beetle, Framed
Description
A large beetle with wings out-stretched. Mounted on a white piece of card and contained within a deep black wooden frame, interior sides coloured gold. Text is printed in black on a white adhered label beneath the beetle "715 Chalcosoma atlas / Atlas Three Horn Scarab / [chinese characters]" and has a small white adhered label above this denoting the gender with a red printed symbol (circle and arrow). "No 721" is stamped on the lower rear edge of the frame. Triangular metal hook at centre top allows for hanging. Rear of frame has a brown paper tape border sealing a pale green piece of card.
