Beetle, Framed
Description
A cicada [?] coloured brown body with extended wings brown and pale green, and mounted on a white piece of card and contained within a deep black wooden frame, interior sides coloured gold. Text is printed in black on a white adhered label below the cicada, "738 Chrysochroa fulminans". Triangular metal hook at centre top allows for hanging. Rear of frame has a brown paper tape border sealing a pale green piece of card. Lower edge of rear frame has "No738" stamped and "C" handwritten in blue marker pen.The label with the species name is incorrect. The name belongs to a bright metallic green beetle not a cicada.
