Butterflies, Framed

Description
A group of 2 butterflies, each mounted with a single pin, and framed. Both have had the lower parts of their bodies become detached. There is one label in the middle "MALAITA IS. / 29.7.73" handwritten in now faded blue pen. Top butterfly is yellow green and black, and the second speciman is various browns and creams. The frame consists of a wooden border with a glass covering. Beneath this is a gold edge providing depth to the frame. The mount for the specimens is a piece of white card. Some of the pins are protruding through the back of this and still move despite evident glue to prevent this. The top rear has 1 hook to allow for hanging.
