Spinning wheel

Description
This spinning wheel or Charkha comes from the "Swat" area of Pakistan. It consists of a two part ornately carved "T" shaped wooden frame, and two turned and carved wooden uprights set into the cross piece of the frame. A rod passing through the uprights holds four broad slats at each end seperated by a barrel like device. These slats are spaced evenly to become the wheel. There appears to be a piece missing that would assist in turning the rod by hand. There are fine tool like devices with the wheel.
