Description
An infants baptismal gown that has two layers. The underdress is made of cream-coloured silk and has two buttons on the reverse; the overdress is made of cotton lace and also has two buttons on the centre-back opening. Both garments are short sleeved and are not attached. The lace has a scalloped edge along the bottom and a embroidered flower pattern which repeats on the yoke.

Worn also by my son when Phyl was his godmother. He looked delightful-just like a doll with the bonnet and pelisse also. Phyl was a super woman and will be always be remembered.
