Pterodroma cookii. A Cooks Petrel mounted on a piece of wood in a standing position with wings closed. Head is inclined towards the left. Webbing on right foot is damaged. Brown, grey and cream colourings.

They
are
often
seen
in
large
flocks
during
the
summer.
They
feed
on
small
crustacean
and
squid.
There
populations

increased
from
predator
control
on
their
main
breeding
islands.
