Credit line
The fluttering shearwater is a ocean going bird endemic to New Zealand. They breed on predator free islands but the reinvasion of these islands could threaten the bird populations. They are abundant with some flocks of up 20000 birds. It has been recorded on the eastern and south-eastern parts of Australia.
