Issued to Thomas William Henderson of the New Zealand Cyclist Corps. After the Armistice members of the Cyclist Corps banded together to form rugby teams and played many matches. A notable match was a 6-3 loss to the South African Heavy Artillerymen in Mons. It is not known what game this medal is associated with. It is possible they may have been issued to all members of the rugby team.
