A box of Macfarlan's sterilized surgical sutures. The box is black cardboard and contains six glass phials, each of which contain two 14 inch black nylon surgical sutures. The sutures are rolled up and contained in a clear solution inside the phials. The phials are separated by cardboard dividers. MACFARLAN & Co. / Edinburgh & London. " is written in black on an orange label on the front. All the phials are intact and contain sutures.
