Gizzard Contents, Shining Cuckoo
Description
Stomach contents of a male Shining Cuckoo (Chrysococcyx lucidus lucidus) preserved in formalin and contained in a clear glass phial with a white cap. Salmon pink paper label attached to neck of phial reads as follows: "Chalcites l lucidus / Shining Cuckoo / Hawera High School / 28 Nov 67 J. Clark" on one side and "Gizzard contents" on the other.
Contents have been transfered to clear jar with white lid. All information on pink labels copied to waterproof paper and placed inside jar.
