Stomach Contents, Long-tailed Cuckoo

Description
Stomach contents of a male Long-tailed Cuckoo (Eudynamys taitensis) preserved in formalin and contained in a clear glass bottle with a cork stopper. Bottle is actually an old methylated spirits bottle from Teeds Chemist Ltd, New Plymouth. Salmon pink label attached to neck of bottle reads as follows: "Eudynamis taitensis / LONG-TAILED CUCKOO / New Plymouth / 20/4/67 J Clark" on one side and "Sromach contents / 10 green stick insects" on the other. Note concerning the positioning of the contents in the stomach is attached via a piece of string to the neck of the bottle.
