Description
A small electric food mixer. A clear glass jug acts as the base with measuring increments on both sides (cups and ounces). The mixer has a black coated metal lid with a small simple metal beater extending down into the jug. A semicircular green plastic covering hides the motor on the top of the lid and an electric cord extends from the motor and has a three point plug attached at the end.

This mixer belonged to Grace (Gracie) Velvin. Grace's 17-year-old son Norman bought it for her in 1937 with his first pay packet. Grace used to use the mixer to make Spanish Cream every Sunday for pudding after the family roast.
