Description
Male Huia (Heteralocha acutirostris). Medium sized, slender bird with brownish black plumage. Broad white band across the tip of the tail. Stout bill, arched, shorter than the tarsus. Mounted on a branch with A96.516. In fair condition - eyes missing. Feathers dishevelled.
