Description
A single draw viewing telescope made from brass and covered with a dimpled brown coated cloth and bound with black electricians tape. Brass has been treated with a black coating - much of which is quite worn. There is an extension at the uppermost end of the telescope to deflect light from the lens when required. : " SUPPLIED BY / COMMERCIAL SUPPLIES LTD / AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND " is stamped on one side of the extension. " MADE BY / W. OTTWAY & CO. LTD / FALING, LONDON / No. 50892 / BRITISH MADE " is stamped on the other side.
