Description
Cream-coloured dessert plate decorated with a brown coloured motif of a single sparrow perched on one branch and two sparrows on a separate branch. The branches have leaves and blossoms. A brown manufacturer's mark painted on the reverse reads "ALMONDS" above an intertwined "G" and "J" with "& SONS" inside a moon shaped crescent with "ENGLAND" down below. A smaller identical mark is also stamped on the underside of base and this has a "2" and a "Z" stamped under the mark.
