Description
Morepork (Ninox novaeselandiae novaeseelandiae). Head, back, scapulars and wing coverts dusty brown. Cinnamon brown flecks on head, neck, collar and back. Large whitish flecks on wing coverts and scapulars. Facial disc greyish white with prominent cinnamon brows. Underside dark chocolate brown with buff and amber flecks. Large brown eyes with black pupils. Perched with wings closed on a short length of branch attached to a "T" shaped piece of wood. In good condition.
