Partridge, Grey
Description
Female Grey Partridge (Perdix perdix). Upper surface ground colour grey with white around the shafts and bars of dark brown; broader bars on the corvets. Orangy brown face, throat and superciliary streak. Chest grey with fine black bars. Abdomen white with chestnut patches. Leg has metal tag inscribed with "Send - Wildlife Wellington 15-09999".
