Description
A single Cocos zeylandica. Small, dark brown, slightly flattened, walnut-sized fossil coconut- basically round in shape. Three 'eyes' at one end. Small concave depression on one side. Covered in a sticky substance. Came from Coopers Beach. Dated Early Miocene (24-16 million years)
