Description
A single Cocos zeylandica. Small, dark brown, flattened, walnut-sized fossil coconut. Three 'eyes' at one end - squashed and filled with sediment. Large "T" shaped crack on one side and large "Y" shaped crack on the other. Came from Coopers Beach. Dated Early Miocene (24-16 million years)
