Description
Eastern Bar-tailed Godwit (Limosa lapponica baueri). Male - winter plumage. Top of head brown streaked with buff. Neck buff. Remainder of upper surface longitudinal dark brown stripes with feathers margined in white. Tail barred brown and white. Chest buff, the feathers have brown shafts. Remainder of undersurface white. Long bill yellow with brown tip.
