Description
Land Rail (Crex crex). Upper surface light brown mottled with black. Wing coverts and priomaries chestnut. Superciliary streak grey; below this is a buff streak. Chin greyish white. Side of throat, foreneck and upper breast grey. Lower breast and abdomen brownish white. Under tail coverts reddish brown barred with white. Bill and legs varnished. Mounted on a piece of untreated pine? Standing with right leg slightly extended in front of the left leg. Neck extended horizontally. In good condition.
