Hinaki

Description
Small hīnaki (eel trap) made from mangemange vine with a large waha (entrance) at one end tapering down towards the opposite end which has a taupoki (lid) attached. The lid has a hole in it where the weaving has been broken. Two loops are present for attaching ropes or handles on the main body and a handle also on the lid.
