Description
Ambrotype portrait of unidentified women and child. One woman is standing and is resting her hand on the shoulder of a seated woman who is holding a child on her lap. The two women are wearing dark coloured formal dresses and bonnets. The child is also wearing a dress. The standing woman's cheeks are faintly tinted pink and the seated woman's scarf is also tinted pink. The group are photographed against a plain hung backdrop and a wooden object is pictured leaning against the backdrop on the left of the image. The ambrotype has no matting or case.
