Framed chromolithograph - Ancient Order of Foresters certificate for John William Uncles. Certificate bears the following text: THIS IS TO CERTIFY / that / Brother J.W. Uncles / is duly enrolled a / Past Chief Ranger of Court No. 5685 / this 10 day of June year 1924 " . The certificate is signed by the Chief Ranger, Sub Chief Ranger and Secretary of the Order. At the top of the certificate there is an eye with light coming out of it. Below a man dressed in green stands on a rock between two mountains holding a red flag with the word "EXCELSIOR" on it. On a yellow banner below the rock and above the white circle holding the caption are the words "PALMAM QUI MERUIT FERAT". On either side climbing up the edge of the white circle is a plant with pink flowers. Besides this on the left side is a tree with another green dressed man in front of it holding a horn with a dog beside him. On the right side is a tree, with a green dressed man in front holding a spear with one foot on a dead deer. Below the white circle is the crest of the Order. Then another yellow banner with the words, "UNITAS BENEVOLENTIA ET CONCORDIA". Below this on the left is a woman dressed in red with a green cloak seated holding a mirror with an open book in front of her. Below her is the word, "TRUTH". On the right side is the same woman but she holds scales, below her is the word, "JUSTICE". In the centre of the two in a forest scene the same woman offers something to two of the green dressed men. Framed in a wooden frame with glass cover.
