A picture stamp album titled " More British Marvels Album No. 2 ". The cover features an English Antarctic explorer raising a Union Jack flag. He is surrounded by a dog sled team and there are two fellow explorers celebrating in the background. A large ice cap is in the distance. The album contains ten series of picture stamps. The series are as follows:1. Varieties of fish 2. Popular Sports 3. Wonderful Butterflies 4. Monsters of the past (dinosaurs) 5. Trees & Grains of Wood 6. Favourite British Fruits 7. Great Castles 8. Celebrated Cricketers 9. Types of Aeroplanes 10. Famous Explorers Each series has a collection of twelve stamps. Series 1, 2, 3, and 7 are complete. Information at the front of the book corresponds with the stamps. " This album belongs to: " is written on the inside of the front cover." Margaret De Jardine / Birdwood Avenue / New Plymouth. " has been hand written next to this.
