Description
A blue felt Woodleigh Country Women's Institute banner with yellow fringed tassels around three edges and a turned wooden rod at the top. The banner has a blue backing and the text on the front is made of yellow velvet sewn onto the main body. " Woodleigh / C.W.I. / North Taranaki / 1952. " is written on the front. The outline of a yellow rose is embroidered on the top left facing corner of the banner. Four enamelled metal C.W.I. pins are attached on the top right facing corner of the banner. " For Home and Country " is written on all of the badges. "Good Service" is written on two of them. " Mrs L. Hansen / Woodleigh / 1965 " is engraved on the back of one and "Elizabeth Paton" is engraved on the other one.. There are two corded ties for hanging attached to either end of wooden rail.
